A Feast of European Baroque Music

The programme included Handel's splendid anthem, As Pants the Hart for Cooling Streams and the beautiful duet, O Lovely Peace, from Judas Maccabeus; two motets by Bach; Salve Regina by Marc-Antoine Charpentier and a glorious setting in sixteen parts by Antonio Caldara of Crucifixus.

The orchestra also played music by Telemann, and movements from Bach's
Suite in B minor.

We were joined by soloists Hannah Grove, Catherine Perfect,
Rob Waters and Paul Horgan.
